Purchaser (Experience in Construction)

Responsibilities:

  • Source and liaise with new or current supplier in purchasing operation with proper evaluation process such as good quality,service,price competitiveness and others.
  • Ensure sufficiency of stock by monitoring and replenishment in order to fulfill requisition of the respective staff, and job sites.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods, receiving, issuing and distribution to respective staff, or job sites
  • Carry out entry and verification exercise on supplier invoice against purchase order and submit to finance department timely.
  • Ensure stock accuracy wuth proper recording in procurement and general inventory.
  • Conduct and carry out stock take annually and as when required
  • Ensure proper maintenance of documentation update and filing for Purchasing Department according to guidelines.
  • Ensure full coordination among inter-departments,suppliers,vendors and contractors on matters related to purchasing and supplies.
  • Assist to answer incoming phone calls and direct to intended parties.
  • Issue purchase orders, delivery orders, and goods receipt orders.
  • Liaise with Store and Logistics Department for delivery and collection of orders
  • Any other adhoc duties assigned by Supervisor
  • Liase with account on invoicing and billing matters.
  • Adhoc admin duties.

Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/'O' Level or equivalent.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
